The company also talks about Warzone’s game engine being mature enough to run on a wide range of hardware.

“The Activision development team has a long history of optimizing game performance for available hardware capabilities,” said Microsoft (via VGC). In a recent statement released as a response to the UK’s CMA about Microsoft’s Activision Blizzard acquisition, the company stated that Warzone should be able to be optimised to run on the Nintendo Switch, since it also supports graphics cards from as far back as 2015. Despite the relatively weak hardware on the Nintendo Switch when compared to its contemporaries in the console market, Microsoft has revealed that it believes that it can get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, as well as Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 to run on the platform.
